11-year-old boy kidnapped, released

HYDERABAD: An 11-year-old boy who was kidnapped on Sunday evening from a playground at Saidabad was released after an hour. Rajeev, a resident of Subramanyam Colony in Saidabad, was playing near his house along with his friendswhen four persons abducted him in a white Maruti car around 5.15 p.m. After an hour, a passer-by noticed the child near a petrol pump at Narapally in Ghatkesar. Then he took the phone number of Rajeev’s father Suryanarayana Rao, an engineer with CMC, and informed the location.

Rao rushed to the spot along with the police and took the child home.
