Effigy burnt

Tuticorin: Members of the Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) burnt an effigy of US President George Bush here on Monday. According to them, Mr. Bush was wrong in his statement that the world food crisis was owing to heavy consumption in India and China. B. Pooviraj, district secretary of the DYFI, led the agitation.
