Dibrugarh: Two ULFA camps were busted by security forces inside the Manabhum Reserve Forest in Arunachal Pradesh, official sources said here on Tuesday. Troops of 19 Kumaon Regiment launched a search operation on Monday and came across two camps deep inside the forest which was used by the militants for night-halt. The camps were large enough to accommodate five to six militants. The security forces recovered a huge quantity of medicine, discharged batteries, improvised kerosene lanterns, salt, discarded clothes and disposable water bottles. — PTI © Copyright 2000 - 2009 The Hindu |
