Construction of CSOI club stayed

NEW DELHI: A court here has stayed construction of a club by the Civil Services Officers’ Institute on a plot of land meant for a district park at Chanakyapuri. Additional District Judge Kamini Lau stayed construction of the club after finding prima facie evidence of “procedural irregularities” in allotment of land to the CSOI. Following the petition, the court had issued notices to all the civic agencies concerned and CSOI.
