Rupee breaches 41 level against $

MUMBAI: The rupee breached the 41-level against the dollar on Wednesday at 41.35/36 as the demand for the dollar from oil firms multiplied after the global crude hit yet another high. It closed at 40.94/95 on Tuesday. The rupee last closed above 41-level on August 16, 2007 at 41.36/37 a dollar. — PTI
