Union Bank net up 64 %

MUMBAI: Union Bank of India reported a net profit of Rs. 1387 crore for 2007-08 against Rs. 845 crore in 2006-07, an increase of 64.14 per cent. Total business has registered a year-on-year growth of 21 per cent at Rs. 1,79,737 crore as at end March 31, 2008 against Rs. 1,48,838 crore as the end of March 2007. — Special Correspondent
