Cognizant first quarter revenue up

CHENNAI: Cognizant Technology Solutions has achieved a growth of 40 per cent in revenue at $643.1 million in the first quarter ended March 31, 2008 against $460.3 million in the corresponding period in 2007. The GAAP operating margin for the quarter was 17.4 per cent. The quarterly diluted earnings per share on a non-GAAP basis was $0.38 per cent as compared to $0.27in the year ago quarter. — Corporate Reporter
