Rashmi in ITF team

New Delhi: Rashmi Teltumbe has been selected by the International Tennis Association (ITF) to be part of its under-16 team on the European circuit.

As part of the programme, Rashmi will play tournaments in Italy and France from June 2 to July 5.

Radhika Tulpule Kanitkar has been selected as one of the three coaches in the ITF team.

Three Indian players, Ronit Bisht, Digvijay Singh Mehta and Natasha Palha, have been drafted into the ITF under-14 team for tournaments in France, Netherlands, Germany and Belgium, from July 7 to August 9.

Another former Indian woman player and a professional coach like Radhika at present, Shalini Thakur Chawla has been selected as one of the coaches for this programme. — Special Correspondent
