Election update on cellphone

BANGALORE: Vodafone Essar has introduced Vodafone Karnataka Election Alert service for its customers this month to keep them abreast of the Assembly elections in the State.

The new service is available on a subscription charge of Rs. 30 and can be activated by dialling *123*74#, said a release from Vodafone. Customers will get alerts six times a day on constituency details, trivia, trends, historical data, profiles, information and live updates on the election results in Karnataka.
