KOLKATA: The DLF-Indian Premier League (IPL) on Friday announced that it had fined Royal Challengers Bangalore $1,000 for slow over-rate in the game against Kolkata Knight Riders at the Eden Gardens, here on Thursday. Kolkata Knight Riders too was fined $500 for the same offence by the match referee, Farokh Engineer. The IPL is being played as per the ICC Playing Conditions and Rules, and is set to follow the guidelines in letter and in spirit.
