ICC CFO quits

Dubai: Days after ICC Chief Executive Malcolm Speed was forced to proceed on leave due to differences with President Ray Mali, the Chief Financial Officer and in-house lawyer of cricket’s world governing body resigned from their respective posts on Saturday.

An ICC spokesman said its CFO Faisal Hasnain and legal counsel Urvasi Naidoo have tendered their resignations.

The ICC official clarified that there was no connection between Speed’s ouster and these resignations. — PTI
