Alappuzha, Kozhikode are joint winners

ALAPPUZHA: TD Medical College (Alappuzha) and Medical College (Kozhikode) were declared joint winners of the George Kunjachan memorial all-Kerala inter-medicos basketball tournament after rain forced the match to be abandoned midway through the first half, with TD Medical College leading 15-12.

Thrissur Medical College finished third after it crushed Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram 41-11. Sharath Kumar (13 points) top scored for the winner. — Principal Correspondent
