TNSP posts win

Kayalpatnam: Last year’s runner-up, Tamil Nadu Special Police (Chennai) edged past Southern Blues (Bangalore) 2-1 in a first round match of the 43rd annual Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Memorial Trophy all-India football tournament here on Saturday.

Bharath Kingslay (22nd) and Kanakaraj (23rd) scored for TNSP, while Nilesh Kumar (64th) reduced the margin.
