Krishna, Guntur win

VIJAYAWADA: Guntur defeated Krishna 22-8 in the boys’ final, while Krishna girls scored a narrow 4-3 win over Guntur in the Andhra State sub-junior inter-district kho-kho championship for boys and girls which concluded at Satennapalli (Guntur), according to information reaching here on Sunday.

Assistant Commissioner of Income Tax Dayasagar gave away the prizes.

The results:

Boys (final): Guntur bt Krishna 22-8. Semifinals: Krishna bt West Godavari 7-1; Guntur bt Visakhapatnam 91).

Girls (final): Krishna bt Guntur 4-3. Semifinals: Krishna bt Vizianagaram 7-4; Guntur bt West Godavari 8-7. — Sports Reporter
