Easy for TNSP

KAYALPATNAM: Last year’s runner-up Tamil Nadu Special Police, Chennai scored a comfortable 3-0 victory over New Sporting Club, Chhattisgarh and entered the quarterfinals of the 43rd annual Moulana Abdul Kalam Azad Memorial Trophy all-India football tournament at the United Sports Club here on Sunday.

TNSP opened the account with a third-minute strike by Jegan off a pass from Kanagaraj.

Kanagaraj scored the second goal in the ninth minute and completed the tally in the 57th minute off a Jegan pass. — Sports Correspondent
