Boy killed, two injured in mishap

NEW DELHI: A two-year-old boy was killed and two sustained serious injuries in a road accident at Rajouri Garden here on Sunday. According to the police, Shekhar Kadam (24), his sister-in-law Radha Kadam and nephew Karan were returning from a wedding on a motorcycle in the early hours when the two-wheeler skidded on the road and rammed into a lamppost. The trio were taken to Guru Gobind Singh Hospital where Karan was declared brought dead. Radha was later shifted to Safdarjung Hospital where her condition is said to be critical. Shekhar is recuperating at DDU Hospital.
