Water level

MADURAI: The water level in the Periyar dam stood at 133 feet with an inflow and discharge of 100 cusecs. The level in the Vaigai dam was 70.70 feet with an inflow of 113 cusecs and a discharge of 41 cusecs. The combined Periyar credit stood at 7,589 mcft. Madurai recorded a rainfall of 4.5 mm and Vaigai dam - 2 mm.
