Bomb hoax

ERODE: An anonymous letter the Erode Collectorate received a few days ago threatened to blow up the building.

The letter, based on which the Kundadam police have registered a case, also threatened to blow up a weir on the Parambikulam Aliyar Project canal.

It said farmers benefiting from water from the canal have had a problem for the past few days and if there was no amicable solution regarding sharing the canal water, the weir would be destroyed.

The police are on the hunt for the person who wrote the letter.
