IP-based office communication systems from Panasonic

NEW DELHI: Eyeing call centres, business process outsourcing firms and enterprise segment, Panasonic on Tuesday launched its Internet protocol (IP)-based office communication systems, the Panasonic KX-TDE series of full-IP PBXs, IP phones and network cameras.

SME focus

Launching the new products here, Gary Gay, Panasonic’s Product Category Owner for SAARC countries, Singapore, Indonesia and Vietnam, said the company’s new IP-based office communication systems were specially tailored for small and medium enterprises (SMEs). These products could be easily scaled up to suit the requirements of other enterprises as well.

The new IP phone will come with a price tag of Rs. 12,000.

Similarly, network cameras from Panasonic, a brand of Japan-based Matsushita Electric Industrial, can be connected to the IP network (Internet or Intranet) and controlled remotely for monitoring and surveillance of a site from anywhere, anytime.
