CHENNAI: Confederation of Indian Organisations for Service and Advocacy and Udhavum Ullangal Public Charitable Trust are inviting nominations for the Dr.K.S. Sanjivi Awards 2008. A press release said that the annual awards are conferred on eight doctors and two hospitals in recognition of their service to the underprivileged patients and their dedication to the profession of medicine. The award was instituted in 2004 to honour Dr.K.S. Sanjivi, founder of the Voluntary Health Services. The nomination forms are available at www.ciosa.org.in and at its office on 4th Street, Mehta Nagar, Nelson Manickam Road. The last day for nominations is May 31.
