Ex-cop held for rape

Jammu: A former police constable on Thursday allegedly raped a mentally challenged woman in Poonch district.

Gurdev Singh raped the woman in a nursery in Poonch town.

On hearing the screams of the woman, some school girls passing by informed the police, official sources said. Singh was later arrested and a case registered against him.
