Kerala team for Optimist Nationals

KOCHI: The Kerala Yachting Association will be sending four children for the National Optimist championship which will be held in Chennai from May 17 to 23.

“This is the first time we are sending a team for the Nationals,” said Sushil Vijay Arora, the KYA secretary.

The four — Allen Peter, Abele Peter (both Rajagiri School, Kalamassery), Abhijith Pillari (Vidyodaya, Thevakkal) and A.J. Sijo (St. Lewis School, Mundamveli) — will compete in the 7-15 years age-group, said Mr Sushil. — Principal Correspondent
