Poor SSC results

ADILABAD: Strict conduct of the SSC exams has resulted in the district sliding down to last position from the third it held last year for pass percentage among all districts in the State. According to the results announced on Thursday the pass percentage is 58.68 per cent. It was 83.63 last year. In all 41,373 candidates had taken the exams.

The district had scored pass percentages of over 80 consequentively for the last five years before the slide. –Staff Reporter
