Patients admitted

NEW DELHI: Seventeen persons were admitted to the Dr. Rajendra Prasad Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences at the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences here on Friday with an eye infection.

According to a senior physician at AIIMS, all the patients were brought from Uttar Pradesh for treatment. “They washed their face with water that had chemicals in it. They are under treatment,” said the physician.
