Appointed board member

TIRUPUR: Tirupur-based writer and novelist Subrabarathi Manian has been appointed member of the Sahitya Akademi’s Tamil Advisory Board. A release said the role of the board was to recommend programmes in the language and also to assist the Akademi in its activities.

Mr. Manian has been publishing Kanavu, a literary magazine for the last 20 years.
