Held on graft charge

HYDERABAD: Anti-Corruption Bureau officials on Friday arrested M. Varalakshmi, Child Development Officer of Kapileswarapuram in East Godavari district, on charge of accepting Rs. 9,000 bribe from a person. M. Nageswara Rao, a junior assistant, who allegedly hid the bribe amount in the office almirah after she passed it on to him, was also arrested. – Staff Reporter
