Rynold Timothy marches ahead
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Favourite and defending champion Rynold Timothy breezed into the men’s singles third round of the Sree Chirtra State tennis championship at the TTC courts here on Saturday.
In the second round, Rynold defeated George Varghese 6-3, 6-1. Hot contender Binoj Mani beat Adavaith 6-1, 6-1.
The semifinalist were spotted in boys’ under-12 section with Anirudh Jaindhan, Madhav Narayan Kumar, Varun Nair and Revanth Kishore Kumar making the grade.
