Tribals arrested for killing sloth bear

ADILABAD: Forest officials arrested two tribals of Kothapet village in Indhanpalli range of Kawwal wildlife sanctuary on Sunday for killing a sloth bear. Four others who are also accused in the case are absconding. The villagers stoned it to death when it came to a nearby stream to drink water. Forest officials went to the scene and arrested the accused when they were trying to burn the dead animal after skinning it. -Staff Reporter
