CHENNAI: A film sans hero or heroine, which kicks off when an India versus Pakistan cricket match is in progress. Only five songs, all sung by female singers.

These are only a few things that make ‘Pathu Pathu’ different.

When asked what the title stands for, director Sathyam said the story takes off when the clock strikes 10.10 at night.

What the title stands for

“An incident happens when the clock strikes “ten ten” at night and six people who are not connected are in a fix.” The story is about how they react to the sequence of events.

Fast-paced

“As I do not have a hero or heroine in the film, I have taken care to ensure the film does not lag behind in pace.” The songs are sung by singers Vinaya, Sangeetha, Roshini, and ‘Thanjai’ Chinna Ponnu.

“The shooting was held in and around Chennai only. The cast includes Sanjith, Sona, ‘Bose’ Venkat, ‘Thalaivasal’ Vijay, Krishna, Asish, Abinaishri, Laksha, Piyanka, Boomika and Manimaran.

The crew

The music has been scored by L.V. Ganesan, son of popular music director L. Vaidhiyanathan. Camera is handled by Sriganesan, editing is by M. Jayakumar and it has been produced by Indian Dream Makers.

The story, screenplay, dialogue and direction are by Sathyam.
