MAHABUBNAGAR: Telugu Desam Party president N. Chandrababu Naidu termed Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy Government as anti-BC. He was addressing impressive gatherings at Balanagar, Nawabpet mandal headquarters under Jadcharla Assembly constituency on Monday as part his ‘Meekosam Chaithanya yatra’. He alleged that shepherds, handloom weavers, toddy tapers, fishermen and other BC communities have lost their livelihood during the Congress tenure. Good responseThere was tremendous response from people whenever the TDP chief criticised the Chief Minister and the Congress Government. The TDP chief demanded resignation of the Cabinet for failing to contain rising prices. He said that his Government acquired land in Jadcharla to develop Green Park for setting up of eco-friendly industries but the Government turned it into a special economic zone and sold the land to pharmaceutical companies at exorbitant rates. He also alleged that the Government acted as a “broker” in dealing with industrialists with regard to Jadcharla SEZ.
