Adhityan puts Prahlad CA in final

CHENNAI: An unbeaten 101 by M. Adhityan helped Prahlad CA to a 41-run win over AVM CA in the semifinals of the Singaram Pillai Trophy under-14 cricket tournament being held here.

Asiatic CA beat Unique CA by 24 runs in the other semifinal.

Prahlad CA 174 for three in 30 overs (M. Adhityan 101 n.o., Suraj 25, Mukunta 25) bt AVM CA 133 in 28.3 overs (Kishore 46, Vijay Kiran 33, Prasanna four for 24, Arun three for 27).

Asiatic CA 125 in 30 overs (N.R.S. Sudarshan 35, Vishal four for 24, Naresh three for 20) bt Unique CA 101 in 28.1 overs (Vignesh 25).
