Jeyaprakash shines

Madurai: Jeyaprakash’s 79 helped Arasaradi Cricket Club defeat Spark Cricket Club by 59 runs and enter the final of the V.V. Ramachandran memorial Trophy district-level Twenty20 cricket tournament organised by Supersonic Cricket Club here on Thursday.

The scores (semifinals): Arasaradi 182 for seven in 20 overs (V. Jeyaprakash 79, Meenakshi Sundaram 31, P. Muniasamy four for 19) bt Spark CC 123 for eight in 20 overs; Majestic CC 111 for eight in 20 overs (Anand 30) bt Olympus CC 76 in 15.1 overs (Muthuveeran three for 12).
