Junior badminton team

VIJAYAWADA: A 12-member Indian junior team has been selected by the Badminton Association of India (BAI) to take part in the training camp at Jakarta (Indonesia) from June 1 to July 11.

The team will under go 40-day training and later leave for Kuala Lumpur to take part in the junior ABC championship which will be held from July 15 to 20.

The team: Boys: Guru Sai Dutt (AP), Adtiya Prakash (Kar), B. Sai Praneeth (AP), Pranav Chopra (Pun), Pratik Patil (Guj), P.S. Pranoy (Ker).

Girls: Saina Nehwal (PSPB), Sikki Reddy (AP), P.C. Tulasi (Ker), Pradinya Gadre (Mah), Sweta Kelkar (Mah), Prajakte Sawant (Mah).

Coaches: Sanjeev Sachdeva, S. Mahajan.
