Rain plays spoilsport

NEW DELHI: Rain left Delhi Daredevils dejected and the 20,000-odd spectators frustrated at the Ferozeshah Kotla on Thursday as the DLF-Indian Premier League match against Kolkata Knight Riders was abandoned without a ball being bowled.

Delhi now has 13 points from 13 matches and needs to win the last encounter against Mumbai Indians here on Saturday. Kolkata, which has been eliminated from the race, has 11 points with a match to go. — Special Correspondent
