Monaco in final

Poertschach: Defending champion Juan Monaco saved three match points Friday to reach his second final of the season by beating Ivan Ljubicic of Croatia 6-4, 6-7(4), 7-6(4) at the Hypo Group International.

The second-seeded Argentine will play top-seeded Nikolay Davydenko in Saturday’s final.
