VANIYAMBADI: Twenty persons were injured when a State owned bus bound to Mallagunda from Natrampalli overturned at Thavaritheru on Saturday. According to the police, the bus was carrying 42 persons. As the vehicle approached a culvert near Thavaritheru, the steering wire got cut and the bus overturned. Twenty passengers, who sustained injuries, were admitted to the Government Hospitals at Tirupattur and Vaniyambadi. © Copyright 2000 - 2009 The Hindu |
