Talent series tournament

BANGALORE: Sadhashivanagar Club will conduct an AITA Talent Series championship here from Monday. Youngsters from all over the country will pariticipate in the championship which ends on May 30.

The tournament is being sponsored by QuestNet and Ajmera Housing Corporation.

Since work is underway for the laying the synthetic court at the club, the early round matches upto the quarterfinals, will be played at MVJ Tennis Centre in the nearby Palace grounds. The action from the semifinals onwards will shift to Sadhashivanagar Club courts.

S. Raghavendra and Ashok Kashyap are the top seeds in the boys under-16 and under-14 singles respectively while Rachita Sarda and Preethi Ujiini head the seedings in the girls’ under-16 and under-14 singles respectively. — Special Correspondent
