Balkishan and Jhanavi win

BANGALORE: A. Balkishan of R.T. Nagar School and S. Jhanavi of KMWA Vidyaniketan emerged champions in the boys and girls sections respectively in the Bangalore District chess championship, which concluded here on Thursday.

Balkishan defeated S. Naren Kumar in the final round. Jhanavi beat Priyanaka Bharadwaj to bag the title.
