Eight share lead

VIJAYAWADA: Eight players emerged joint leaders with three points on the opening day of the two-day State Open chess tournament at Challapalli on Saturday. Vijayawada’s 10-year-old Lasya created a flutter defeating FIDE-rated player Kumar Raja in the second round.
