VIJAYAWADA: Eluru’s D. Lakshman Rao emerged winner with seven points in the State open chess tournament which concluded on Sunday. Vijayawada’s K.V.K. Karthik took the second spot with 6.5 points under progressive scoring. J. Malleswara Rao, Ch. Divyasri and C.R.G. Krishna finished joint third with 6.5 points each.
