Germany triumphs

MONCHENGLADBACH: Germany defeated Argentina 6-2 to win the women’s Champions Trophy hockey tournament here on Sunday.

Aymar was named the most valuable player of the tournament. Germany’s Kristina Reynolds got the goal keeper of the tournament award. The most promising player award went to China’s Zhao Yu Diao.
