Yateesh wins

BANGALORE: Yateesh of Mphasis claimed the men’s singles title in the EBF inter-corporate table tennis championship which concluded at Malleswaram Association here on Sunday.

Yateesh defeated Prashanth of Satyam in a hard-fought final at 8-11, 4-11, 16-14, 5-11, 13-11, 11-9, 11-6. Yateesh also steered Mphasis to a 3-2 victory over Satyam in the team event. Anitha of HSBC bagged the women’s singles title with 11-8, 11-7, 11-8 victory over Ramya of Mind Tree.
