State-level dirt track event

BANGALORE: A State-level dirt track event is being organised at Chickmagalur on June 1st and is open to four-wheelers and two-wheelers in various categories. Some of the drivers on the Indian National Rally Championship will thus get a chance to sharpen their driving skills while participating in this event sponsored by Bosch, JK Tyres and Castrol.

The event to be staged at the Ashraya Grounds from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. has attracted entries from INRC drivers Ranjit Ballal, Karan, Baban Khan, Shailender Hegde, Ashish Aithal, Chetan, Shivram and Sujay.

A number of cars have registered in the novice section.

In the two-wheeler category, bikers from Bangalore, Mysore, Chickmagalur, Tumkur and Shimoga have confirmed participation.
