PATNA: The Patna police have registered an FIR against the former chairman of the Bihar Legislative Council, Jabir Hussain, now an RJD MP, and its former secretary Kapildeo Prasad. They have been charged with making more than 70 illegal appointments. A resident of Siwan, Raj Kumar Singh lodged the FIR with the Sachivalaya police on directions from the Patna High Court. Mr. Singh filed the case after an enquiry by the acting Chairman, Arun Kumar, found substance in the charges.
