Two drown in river

SIRSI: Sukru Nagappa Harikantra(60) and his wife Laxmi Harikantra (50) of Aghanashini village in Kumta taluk died when their fishing boat capsized in the Aghanashini river following heavy rain and storm on Monday. Three other women who were in the boat were rescued. They have been admitted to a hospital in Kumta. —Correspondent
