The Hindu NIE schools, winners all School Notes

BANGALORE: The schools that are part of The Hindu’s NIE programme have achieved excellent results in the SSLC, CBSE and ICSE as well as ISC examinations held recently. Here is a list of schools and the top performers.

SSLC results

Stella Maris High School, Vyalikaval, has over the years achieved excellent results. Ramya V. is the school topper with 95.84 per cent. Deepika Hegde has scored 100 per cent in English.

Ramyashree by securing 94.92 per cent has become the topper of Florence Public School, RT Nagar, while Vinay S. Bharadwaj (93.28 per cent) has come second. Keerthi K. has scored above 90 per cent.

In Holy Child Convent, Ashoknagar, 29 students have scored above 80 per cent.

Principal Shobha Sathish said that the school has been consistently achieving excellent results. Ranjana S. with 96 per cent has emerged the topper.

Pranavasthitha (95.2 per cent) came second, while two students, Kavya N. and Kruthika Dinakar with 94.4 per cent, share the third position.

All the students of The Oxford English Medium School, Nagarabhavi, have passed the examination. Vandana J. (93 per cent) is the school topper.

Nikhitha Prabhu and Sonia S. have come second. Both have secured 90 per cent marks.

Meghana H. of New Public English School, Vijayanagar, who secured 98.4 per cent, is planning to pursue a career in engineering.

She said her efforts had yielded the desired results and she thanked her teachers for her success. Nalina U. (97.92 per cent) came second, while Prithviraj Harish, Poornima T., Reshma N.P., Nagashreee Bhat and Shreyas K.S. have scored above 90 per cent.

At Auden High School, Banashankari, Vinay B.K. has scored 125 marks in Sanskrit. Sameer R. Kulkarni has scored 100 per cent in mathematics. Varun M. Shetty by securing 96 per cent has become the school topper, while Suhanaaz has scored above 90 per cent.

Chairman of the institution N. Ramanna said the school had conducted many revision tests besides a preparatory examination to boost the confidence of the students.

At Gnana Teja Public School, Mathikere, 12 students have scored above 80 per cent. Ranjan Prabhu (97.44 per cent) is the school topper. Rohith, Shishir Hegde, Nikhil and Chethan have scored above 90 per cent.

ICSE results

The Oxford English School (ICSE), JP Nagar, has recorded 100 per cent passes in both ICSE and ISC examination and all the students have passed in First Class. Devyani Kulkarni (92.7%) is the school topper in Class X and she has also scored 100 per cent in computer application.

Florence Public School, RT Nagar, has achieved 100 per cent passes in ICSE examination. Two students have scored 100 marks in computer application. Sharmitha M. (95.14 per cent) is the school topper, while Avinash Mahabal Hegde (93.57 per cent) has come second. Nayela Ayaz (92.86 per cent) has stood third.
