81-year-old dies in road accident

NEW DELHI: An 81-year-old man was killed when a Tata-407 vehicle he was travelling in hit a trailer truck near Moolchand in South Delhi in the early hours of Tuesday.

According to the police, the accident took place around 4-30 a.m. when the Tata-407 in which Amar Nath was travelling hit the trailer. While the Tata-407 driver, Rajesh Yadav, escaped with minor injuries, Amar Nath died on the spot.

The police have registered a case and arrested Rajesh.
