Police teams sent to Bhagalpur, other areas in search of suspect

NEW DELHI: The Delhi police have not made any breakthrough yet in the sensational double murder case of an elderly couple at Neeti Bagh here on Monday.

“Police teams have been sent to Bhagalpur in Bihar and other areas in search of the suspect Mukesh. We are hoping to nab him soon. Prima facie it appears to be a case of robbery,” said Station House Officer (Defence Colony) Omprakash Sharma.

Ransacked

Ashok Goel, a retired purchase manager of a prominent hotel, and his wife Lata Goel were found murdered at their residence on Monday morning.

The house was ransacked and the police suspect involvement of the family’s 20-year-old domestic help,

Mukesh, who is missing since the incident came to light.
