NEW DELHI: The Communist Party of India (CPI) on Friday hailed the end of monarchy in Nepal and its emergence as an “independent, secular, inclusive, federal democratic republic with sovereignty and State authority entrusted in the Nepali people.” The party’s national council also congratulated the seven-party alliance for having carried out the historic change.
