NEW DELHI: The Union Personnel Ministry has received a request from the U. P. government for handing over the probe into the Noida double murder case to the CBI. Ministry sources said here on Friday that officials were “verifying” the documents received from the government and would be forwarding them to the CBI for appropriate action. On Thursday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati recommended a CBI probe into the murder of Aarushi Talwar and her domestic help Hemrajon the intervening night of May 15 and 16.
